JUNE 9TH
Magicians and Illusionists
Do you have what it takes to be a master illusionist? Come join fellow magicians to discover sleight-of-hand and other tricks of the trade. Campers will practice being escape artists, develop their own card tricks, and compete to see who can make the largest object disappear. At the end of the week, these experienced magicians will be ready to take their skills to the stage and put on a magic show for the whole camp!
WEEK 2
JUNE 16TH
Amazing Flying Objects
Campers, you are cleared for take-off! From homemade Frisbees to drones, this camp explores the science of flight. Campers will work together in teams to design and launch their very own incredible flying object. Design a kite, fly a drone, discover Air Bowling, and join us for The Ultimate Airplane Challenge.
WEEK 3
JUNE 23RD
World Cup Soccer
Campers are divided into small teams, which they will name after a country of their choosing, then compete tournament-style! Reigning champs include France, Argentina, and Brazil. Watch out for secret trick plays and unique rule variations throughout, including “Marshmallows Incoming!”
WEEK 4
JUNE 30TH
Fairy Tale and Comic Book Creation
Mirror, mirror on the wall – who is the most creative camper of them all? The sky’s the limit as campers design, author and illustrate comic books and short stories. Girls and boys alike will immerse themselves in a week of fairy tales, superheroes and comedy as they bring their original stories and characters to life.
WEEK 5
JULY 7TH
CSI Investigators
Step into the shoes of a crime scene investigator at Explora Summer Camp. Working together as a crime scene unit, campers will take photographs, gather evidence, and search for clues. This hands-on camp will inspire your young investigator to work as a team, use critical thinking skills, and solve the mystery. Remember, crime scenes can get messy, so wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty!
WEEK 6
JULY 14TH
Wizarding Camp
Expecto Patronum!! Meet us at platform 9 ¾ and hop on the Hogwarts Express to join us for a week in the wizarding world. Enjoy wand-making, exciting potions, mythical and magical creatures, and more! Campers will complete “classes” each day to make crafts and play Quidditch. Have you ever wanted to experience the magic of Hogwarts? Or, wonder what house you would be sorted into? Come and find out!
WEEK 7
JULY 21ST
Beach Games
The weather is perfect for beach games! Join in the fun and play Volleyball, Knockout, Beach GaGa, and of course, Water Handball. Our experienced staff will lead campers through a week of fantastic beach-style games, while making sure that campers stay cool and safe. The week ends with a water balloon competition similar to games played on the popular 90’s T.V. show Double Dare. See you there and don’t forget your swimwear!
WEEK 8
JULY 28TH
Artful Adventures
Prep your paint pallet, sharpen your pencils, and get ready to create! Flex the right side of your brain as we paint, sculpt, and draw our way through another awesome week at camp. Mix colors and paint with acrylics and watercolor; learn how to mold, carve, and build three-dimensional works of art; and prepare to showcase your work for all to see at the summer camp art gallery on Friday. Campers will go home with their very own portfolio.

AUGUST 4TH
4 Square Frenzy
King, Queen, Jack, and Square 1! Explora Summer Camp is proud to boast some of the most enthusiastic 4 square players around. Starting with technique and ending with the ultimate 4 square tournament, this super fun program integrates intense 4 square competition with lots of other fun camp games that focus on hand-eye coordination. Learn to win and lose with grace as we explore what it means to be a player in a singles match. Form alliances and define strategies to make your way towards the final title as King of the Grid!
WEEK 10
AUGUST 11TH
Crazy Chemical Reactions
How do you know a chemical change has occurred? Each day campers enter the Explora Camp Laboratory, they will investigate one of the five ways chemical reactions can be observed: vaporization (production of gas), precipitation (creation of a solid), change in color, change in temperature, and change in properties. Exciting experiments combined with fun science-themed games like Molecule Capture the Flag and a periodic table scavenger hunt will make for a wild week!
